Added Flight Connections to Kenya

There already are numerous carriers flying to Kenya, making this magical destination very accessible to all travelers, be it business or leisure.

However Kenya is seeing the entrance of even more carriers into its airspace and welcomes more of the world to experience it's hospitable people, amazing wildlife and breathtaking landscapes.

Korean Air will soon fly to Kenya – Korean Air has announced it will launch thrice-weekly flights between Seoul and Nairobi from June 21 onwards. The service, operated by an Airbus A330-200, will depart Seoul on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The return leg will depart Nairobi every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The flight to Nairobi will not only facilitate growing trade links between Korea and Africa, but also provide a boost in tourism for the “Safari Capital of the World.”


Etihad – has launched flights to Kenya as of April 1 from Abu Dhabi

Daily Flights between Abu Dhabi and Nairobi will be operated by a two-class Airbus A320 with Business Class. Onboard the aircraft there are 16 Pearl Business Class seats.

This new route will connect traffic between East Africa, North Asia, and the Indian Subcontinent.

Last year more than two million tourists visited Kenya, and 295,000 of them came from the Middle East.

  • Air Arabia from Sharjah (direct) 4X a week
  • Kenya Airways from Dubai (direct) daily
  • Royal Jordan - Launched flights to Nairobi in December 2011. The new route of Amman to Nairobi will be operated four times a week with Airbus A319s according to Airline Route.
  • Qatar Airways - Currently flying twice daily
  • JKIA Expansion
  • British Airways - Currently flying daily

Airport Upgrade in Nairobi

Kenya’s airport in Nairobi is currently undergoing expansion and upgrading of its facilities. Construction is due to begin on a new terminal in January 2012 that will have the capacity to handle 20 million passengers.

Hotel Brands in Kenya

Kenya already had the presence of major International hotel brands within the destination such as Hilton & Intercontinental, but has recently seen the addition of major players coming into the industry.
Fairmont hotels came in with properties in Nairobi, Masai Mara and Mt. Kenya.
Crowne Plaza has opened its doors to business travelers in Nairobi as did Southern Sun hotels.
Radisson Blu is also planned to open in Nairobi city within the next year.
